Hi everyone. Sorry for the delay posting this, I’ve been a little under the weather for the last few days, but now I’ll give you some info about our Flickr group and how to find it & post. The following link will take you right to it: Sooke Photography Adventures Club Flickr group
Once there, if you already have a membership, you need to join the group. I’ve made it by request, so that we can keep posts to actual club members, but others can still view the images. If you don’t have a Flickr account yet, this link will explain how to get one: https://www.flickrhelp.com/hc/en-us/articles/4404070257940-How-to-Sign-Up-for-a-Flickr-Account There are options for a free account (which is all you need for most people) or a paid one. Both types work fine.
You can upload as many photos as you like to Flickr (within their total limits) but right now our group is set to allow you to post up to 3 images per week. This is so that the group photo stream does not become so full it’s hard to find anyones images on them, and make it easier to see what different members post. Use this to post some of your best photos from assignments and Adventures we go on and remember to pick the top 2-3 images of the month’s assignment to tag with the Flickr tag: SPAC-assignment

In the screen-shot image above, you will see two blue boxes that I added. The top box is where you add your Flickr tags. If you do not wish your photo to be up for discussion at our meetings, just don’t put the SPAC-assignment tag on it. The lower box is where you put the photo in groups. As you can see, I’ve added this photo to multiple groups that I belong to, including our group (indicated by the group logo at the last spot on the bottom line). Remember, to add to a group, you must have joined that group.
If you have any more questions about the group, feel free to add them to the comments section!
